We are a Brisbane based Hydraulic Engineering Company. We have been operating for 25+years, and continue to grow.
Our bright, open-plan office is located close to public transport, shops and restaurants.

 

About the role

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Reception & Front Desk – field incoming calls, greet and assist guests.
  • Digital file management and accurate document control.
  • Update spreadsheets and internal databases.
  • Investigation of existing underground infrastructure services from Council online mapping systems and geographic information system.
  • Liaise with Council authorities throughout application process.
  • High level of support to internal staff.
  • Assist with accounts receivable (Debt collection).
  • Work with clients to achieve satisfactory outcomes.
  • General office administration – printing, filing, scanning, typing/data entry.
  • Work closely with the Administration Manager to assist with the day to day running of the office,  including maintaining the kitchenette, order stationery, process incoming and outgoing mail, maintain boardroom for meetings and order catering for events.

 

Fulltime Monday – Friday.

Skills and experience

To be successful for this role, you should:

  • Be proactive and have a good sense of initiative.
  • Display professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Have a calm, friendly telephone manner with high level of resilience.
  • Have previous experience in a customer service and administration role.
  • Be proficient in Word, Excel & Outlook. Training will be provided for Monday.com and Simpro.

An excellent phone manner, great organisational skills and passion for customer service are essential.
