About KCCC
Kensington Community Children’s Co-operative (KCCC) is a not-for-profit community-based early childhood education and care service governed by a committed group of parents and operated by a dedicated and highly qualified staff team.
KCCC is 140 place centre, we operate from 7.30 – 6pm from Monday to Friday, 50 weeks each year, for children aged 6 weeks to school age. We offer long day care and kindergarten programs. Our natural setting is an integral part of our program and we encourage and foster sustainable practices.
KCCC is a child safe organisation.
The Role
The Assistant Centre Manager will work with the General Manager to provide leadership and co-ordinate day-to-day operations of the centre, to ensure we offer a safe, welcoming and positive environment for children, families and educators. The role requires strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and the ability to engage, lead the team and ensure the centre runs smoothly.

Requirements
Applicants must hold:
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or Early Childhood Teaching qualification.
- Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate (including anaphylaxis and asthma training), current Working with Children’s Check.
