Position Title: Babysitter / Tutor / Support Work – (One or multiple)
Subcontractor Position (ABN REQUIRED)
Job Summary: Fulfilling babysitting/ nannying and/or tutoring and support work roles at clients homes – located within a 30minute radius of your home. Flexible working schedule and negotiable payrates. Training can be provided.
10 – 38 hours per week.
Babysitter Responsibilities
- Supervising and Entertaining children (ages vary between 0-14, but depends on your experience)
- Morning / School prep routines
- Bedtime routines
- Washing dishes
- Cleaning up after children and yourself
- School pick up / drop off
Nannying Responsibilities
- Babysitting responsibilities plus
- Children’s laundry
- Cleaning messes/ floor messes made by children
- Cooking meals
- Light dusting
- Making children’s beds
- Some additional tasks
Tutoring Requirements
- Engaging
- Understanding content & how to break it down (training and content can be provided)
- Ideally willing to perform in babysitting or support work positions, but not essential.
Support Work Responsibilities
- Mentoring
- Supporting with activities or daily living skills
- Companion engagement
- Some clients require more extensive care i.e. Personal care

Essential Requirements:
- ABN (free to obtain)
- Working with Children Check
- Police Clearance
- First Aid & CPR (for Babysitter/nanny and support work)
- A reliable form of transportation (your own car or someone to drive you)
- 2 references from working with children or disabilities
- 1 month experience (with at least family / friends)
- Covid Vaccination is only required for support work / working with NDIS clients position. It is NOT required for babysitting / nannying, however some of our clients do request our team to have this.
- NDIS orientation module for support work (free to obtain)
Desirable Requirements:
- Driver’s Licence / Own car
- 6 months+ professional experience with clients
- NDIS screening check for support work
