How will I Help?
As a Business Analyst in the Group Customer Assist Team within the Customer Solutions, you will be responsible for supporting the Project Manager in all project activities that deliver business and/or technology solutions, including Remediation projects, enabling Westpac to achieve it’s strategic goals, business benefits and outcomes.

This role is also required to deliver seamless implementation of Business changes/remediation outcomes through strong engagement with stakeholders both internal and external to Customer Assist and to implement and achieve key business objectives and ensure consistency of process and service experience across all channels.

The Business Analyst is responsible for the business analysis tasks primarily within the boundaries of a project/remediation and/or program but not limited to.  These tasks can be performed from a diverse range of perspectives including Waterfall, Agile, Information Technology and/or business process management.

What do I need?
Knowledge and Expertise required:

  • At least 3-5 years of Business Analyst experience essential, through process improvement initiatives to major end to end transformation initiatives
  • Strong stakeholder management to be able to build effective working relationships with key stakeholders from various levels
  • Deep understanding of the Collections and Recoveries market in Australia – challenges, trends, competitive and & regulatory environment
  • Demonstrable experience in leadership and project management roles
  • Proven track record in driving business performance through effective people leadership and/or influencing skills
  • Ability to manage performance independently and deliver results as part of a team
  • Demonstrable passion for delivering change strategy that will take the Customer Assist business to the next level
  • Demonstrated experience managing information flows to and from the business both internally and externally
  • Experience in waterfall and agile project methodologies
  • Lean Six Sigma – Green belt certification or equivalent is desirable
