Our family owned company was established in 1982, succeeded through 5 generations on the same patch of land. Based at Keith in the heart of the Tatiara, Upper South East of South Australia, our country consists of 1660ha (4100 acres)

We are unique that our country is so diverse, with rich cropping ground, irrigation and undulating sandier plains for grazing. We are really focused on high achievement and always finding ways to improve what we do.

We believe this focus is reflected in the quality of our robust dual purpose merino flock with attention to wool and carcass. With 40% Cropping, 5% Lucerne Seed & 55% Sheep, the enterprises really complement one & another.


Company directors, Kym & myself, Chad (Father & Son), are equal business owners and operate the land with Kylie (my Wife) and our 3 children aged 11, 9 & 7.



Our focus on our sheep flock and precision within our business has led towards rapid production & growth of our merinos. As this is our passion it has now created opportunity, but not limited to, a position for a cropping operations manager within our cropping & sheep mixed farm enterprises. 


The position is available for an experienced person that has great passion for agriculture & commits to owning their roles in a mixed farming business.

  • Operation of all heavy machinery eg, tractors, harvester, truck, etc.
  • Inspecting pastures & crops for pests & diseases
  • Liaising with directors and agronomist about spray recommendations, pick up of chemical from a rural outlet & applying spray mixes to crops with a trailed boom spray
  • Planting, rolling, spraying, spreading, mowing, raking, baling and harvesting of crops
  • Irrigating crops for hay & Lucerne seed
  • Carting and stacking hay in readiness for feeding out during summer/autumn
  • Storing grain in preparation of supplementary feeding
  • Cartage of grain from harvest with truck & trailer (HC licence preferred but not a necessity)
  • Preparation of paddocks pre-sowing, including mixing & levelling of delved or clayed areas, rock picking, soil amelioration & rolling
  • Up keep of laneways & yards and spot spraying noxious weeds
  • Up keep, maintenance & repairs of water points, fences, buildings & machinery
  • Engineering, welding, service & repairs to all machinery & fixtures
  • Operation & maintenance of all small engines and electric powered tools such as chainsaws, drills, grinders, generators, augers, fire units & pumps
  • At times helping with important animal health tasks
