ECT required – Hornsby Area in Explore & Develop Waitara at North West & Hills District

We are looking to employ an experienced Degree Qualified Educator to work in our service. We would prefer the successful applicant to work Full-time, but would consider Part-time as listed below.

• 89 place privately owned service located in Waitara.
• FULL TIME position working a 5 day week (9:00-5:30 with a monthly RDO) 
• PART TIME position working a 3 day week (9:00-5:30) Monday – Wednesday OR Wednesday – Friday
• Immediate start

The successful applicants MUST hold completed Degree Qualifications in Early Childhood Education & a current 1st Aid Certificate. 

Our service has 5 learning environments with the following age groups

• 0 – 18 months – 12 children + 3 educators
• 18 – 30 months – 16 children + 4 educators
• 2.5 – 3.5 years – 15 children + 3 educators
• 3 – 4 years – 20 children + 3 educators
• 4-5 years – 26 children + 3 educators

Every room has ECT, Diploma, & Cert 3 educators. We also employ trainees to cover breaks, sick leave & annual leave to minimise the need for agency casual educators to ensure children are educated by a team that they are familiar with rather than seeing constantly changing faces.

A current NSW Working With Children Check clearance is required to work with children.

You will be required to help with programming & maintaining developmental portfolios, so sound written and spoken English is essential.
