Estimator – Civil Road Construction in Stream Consulting Group at Parramatta & Western Suburbs

Our client has been active in the Civil Construction Industry for over 45 years.

The right candidate must have: 

• a degree in civil engineering
• Minimum 5 years plus experience in Estimating/Tendering for major civil road projects; preferably with RMS experience
• Ability to estimate all aspects of the project
• Solid industry experience and contacts with relevant suppliers and contractors
• Strong negotiating and communication skills
• Ability to work to deadlines and managing competing priorities
• Prior experience in management of subcontractor packages

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Reporting to the GM
• Estimating a variety of civil infrastructure projects
• Providing accurate quotations and pricing
• Report margin expectations
• Completing submissions and tenders from pre-tender through to handover
• Managing expressions of interest
• Finalising estimation for tender preparations
• Client meetings – representing the company during presentations and discussions
