De Kleine Contracting
De Kleine Contracting is a Hobart-based company specializing in civil works and infrastructure projects. Our company’s expertise has developed from over 20 years of experience in the civil construction industry in Tasmania. We have established working relationships with government bodies, councils, and private developers.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for young and dynamic skilled construction workers with a range of tickets to work on various construction sites around Hobart.
We currently have vacancies for the following positions:
- Experienced Excavator Operator (m/f)
- Multi-skilled Civil Construction Labourer (m/f)
About You
For any application to one of the positions above, you will possess the following:
- Relevant Trade Qualification (not essential but preferred)
- Prior experience in subdivision, road and stormwater projects highly regarded.
- Hold a valid driver’s license.
- Hold an industry white card.
- Strong safety focus with demonstrated evidence of actively promoting and sustaining a zero-harm environment.
- Strong team player with proven ability to work efficiently with others.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
For the Excavator operator position, your role and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Be able to work as a team player and alone.
- Operating different excavators (from 5.5t to 20t) and machinery.
- Completing pre-starts and basic maintenance.
- GPS (Leica) experience or willingness to learn.
For the Multi-skilled labourer position, your role and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Lay pipes, install manholes, pits, install fittings, box paths and any other labouring work required to complete daily works and contracts.
