About the opportunity
Our current supervisor vacancy is within our Prestons ADE, based in South-West Sydney. The role will be to support employees with a range of abilities to meet business objectives and ensure we are maintaining our work place policies and processes.
Some of the responsibilities will include;
- Complete all invoicing and purchase orders via our NAV ERP system.
- Ensure site administrative is completed effectively and correctly
- Coordination of schedules and time sheets
- Where necessary re-negotiate pricing / delivery times
- Account management support where needed
- Safe utilisation of tools and vehicles on site
- Stock receiving and inventory management experience
- Management of personnel issues when required
- Ability to motivate and engage the team
About the candidate
As our warehouse business is growing and strengthening, you will not only need to match the selection criteria, but also have a true passion for working with people with a disability. Some of the key selection criteria are:
- Experience in a similar role
- Current, clean NSW Drivers Licence
- Ability to work to deadlines / turnaround times
- Must be computer literate – NAV / Microsoft Dynamics experience advantageous
- Commitment to the rights of people with a disability
- Must be willing to submit to a Criminal Clearance Check
- HACCP – food safety is desireable
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
- Forklift Licence
- First Aid Certificate
- Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate and direct activities of employees
- Demonstrated communication skills both oral and written and the capacity to work with others
- Ability to provide assistance to Supported Employees
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a warehouse environment or FMCG sector
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise workloads
- Ability to work with individuals using a Client-Centred, goal-oriented approach
- Well-organised with a good knowledge of Excel.
- Ability to plan stock movements in advance and use booking sheets to control all incoming and outgoing stock movements
