Working closely with the CEO, your role will be to direct and manage all operational and strategic finance activities and provide leadership and vision to your own team. Initial emphasis will be on implementing the new accounting system and driving the business improvement plan, while also shaping a new workplace culture and environment that reflects your own principles and vision.
Tertiary qualified in a finance or accounting based discipline, you have a proven track record of delivering Accounting and Finance systems improvement programs within complex service-based environments. You are a natural leader with the ability to inspire and instil cultural change built around collaboration, accountability and a shared commitment to excellence. On a technical level, you will have a thorough understanding of all aspects of grant accounting and acquittal, hands-on experience with contemporary financial IT systems and the skills needed to develop and deliver analytical, data-driven reporting.
