Our client, a Global Large Investment Group with an established and growing portfolio are looking for a Financial Accountant to join their growing team with an opportunity to grow and progress
The role
This is an excellent opportunity for a first time mover to get ASX Listed Financial Accounting experience into this sector. You will have high attention to detail, be able to think of solutions to problems and be self motivated.
Financial Accounting responsibilities:
It is likely that you will come either direct from a Chartered Accountant or a Big 4, or funds management background , and you will have a combination of the following skills and experience:
The role

Financial Accounting responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly financials, annual and half yearly stat accounts (including variance analysis) for inclusion in board papers
- Calculating Fees on funds
- Balance sheet reconciliation and commentary
- Assist with the preparation of the profit & loss account and balance sheet
- Audit reporting; monthly and yearly
- Compiling monthly board pack
- Preparation of P & L accounts
- Assist with cash flow monitoring, reporting & forecasting
It is likely that you will come either direct from a Chartered Accountant or a Big 4, or funds management background , and you will have a combination of the following skills and experience:
- CA/CPA studying
- Big 4 or Chartered Background preferred
- Sound accounting skills
- Experience in preparation or audit of financial statements.
- Strong Communication skills
- Analytical skills and provide idea for process improvements
