Woods & Co Recruitment have partnered with one of the leading gym chains in Australia who are on the lookout for an experienced, well rounded Financial Controller to join their team based in Derrimut. 

Having grown to over 25 gyms nationwide & in excess of 300 staff + plans to grow further, this is a real opportunity to join a business who are consistently growing.

What do you do?
  • Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable and payable functions
  • Managing of Accounts Department
  • Overseeing all financial planning and analysis
  • Forecasting future performance
  • Ensuring accuracy of financial statements
  • Recommending changes to improve financial performance
  • Remaining in touch with day-to-day operations of the finance team through a hands-on approach   
What do you need?
  • Updated CPR and First Aid is not compulsory
  • CA or CPA Qualified
  • Highly proficient in IT, especially Xero and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong leadership
  • Must be organised and have an eye for detail
  • Multitask and choose priorities
  • Strong commercial acumen with a business partnering focus with a view of understanding key drivers and metrics
  • Works proactively to timelines and deadlines
  • Hands on and continuous improvement mentality
