Situated within quiet streets of Melbourne’s Eastern Suburbs, this modern Aged Care facility offers a peaceful and friendly environment – providing luxury accommodation and a range of dining and entertainment options for the residents to relax and enjoy their lifestyle.

Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, the General Manager is responsible for managing the day to day operations of the 110-bed Residential Aged Care facility located in Ringwood. 

Our client is seeking an experienced General Manager with a clinical background in Aged Care, to lead and coordinate the professional care staff to support the livelihood of its wonderful residents.

Your duties will include: 
  • Manage day to day operations of a 110-bed aged care facility
  • Lead a team of care managers, ACFI coordinator and care staff
  • Control of recruitment, rostering and training of staff
  • Participate and lead company meetings and special projects/activities
  • Focus on staff management and development to maintain a positive workplace
  • Assist in budget planning – with a focus on occupancy and funding income
  • Facility located in Ringwood
A crucial part of the role also includes non-clinical duties such as financial, compliance and admissions management to provide maintenance and continuous improvements within the establishment.

  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Full Australian Working Rights
  • Minimum 4 year experience working as a Facility Manager in Aged Care
  • Registered Nursing qualification
