Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort and Convention Centre – part of the Accor family – is building on its reputation for luxury interiors with quirky hospitality. The opportunity

This role will suit a diversely experienced General Manager who is passionate about the industry and the people. Accountabilities include: 

  • directly manage all facets of the resort and convention centre including revenue management, employee engagement, customer service and achievement of financial targets
  • strategically manage owner relationships and represent Accor at the highest level of industry
  • be accountable for business plans, sales and marketing strategies, annual budget and profit in the hotel
  • represent and manage local government and associated bodies for  Accor and resort owners
  • leading the employee engagement agenda and providing guidance to the leadership team to achieve engagement goals. 

What we need from you

Aside from a fresh perspective and energy, we are looking for:

  • a minimum 7 years’ experience as senior leader within the Hospitality sector
  • proven track record in driving profitable rooms, food and beverage outlets, and conference and event facilities
  • strong business and financial acumen; proof you can achieve commercial success and financial results
  • strong experience in asset refurbishment planning and management.
