What you’ll do
The Head of Financial Planning and Analysis plays a key role in proving short and long term plans to the Executive Team and Board of Directors and supports the business by providing financial insights to drive business growth.
Manage the planning process for the corporate functions and business units.
Develop and maintain the Group’s planning model, ensuring the model remains up to date for all key changes to the business and is both flexible and robust enough to delivery quality output.
Cash flow modelling and analysis including dividend payment recommendations.
Focus on balance sheet to ensure optional returns on capital and equity.
Work with finance teams to understand the pipeline of capital projects and implications for the financial outlook and D&A projections.
Review Business Case and financial models for all capital spend due to CFO approval.
Review the Group’s WACC and funding mix annually.
Assist with ad hoc projects as required with either a strategy or operations focus including development of financial models.
Analyse and review financial projections and develop comparisons to peer companies.
Provide people leadership through coaching, on the job training and performance development of team members. Ensure the Planning and Insights team operates in an efficient and effective manner.
Identify and recommend continuous business process improvement of processes, policies and procedures.
What you’ll bring
Postgraduate qualifications required.
Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) required.
7 to 10 years’ work experience in a practise or large/medium corporate finance functions.
Proven experience in developing and maintaining strong relationships across business and finance teams.
Advanced spreadsheet and modelling skills and knowledge of Oracle financials or similar ERP.
Demonstrated strong project management and process improvement skills with good communication skills, both orally and through written reports.
Demonstrated experience in providing strategic Finance advisory or consultancy, decision support for business line managers.
Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy and quality of work.
