We have an excellent opportunity for a Implementation Project Coordinator to join our Computershare Plans Manager (CPM) team, based in our Yarra Falls office. If you’re looking for a job that challenges you and gives you opportunities to grow, you’ve found the right role.

Computershare Plan Managers (CPM) is the division within Computershare responsible for providing administrative services, project management and plan design to Plan Manager clients and their individual employee share plan holders.

A role you will love                                                

The Implementation Project Coordinator role operates within the New Business Implementation Team at a local level and must deliver within strict customer service delivery guidelines. The guidelines include successful delivery of projects, in conjunction with the Implementation Specialist, within agreed timeframes and quality standards.

If successful, you will work collaboratively across various Computershare departments and teams, supporting continuous improvement and project activity related to the role.

Some of your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Complete the relevant Scope and Discovery process for all assigned projects and vesting requirements.
  • Lead all Project initiation meetings and all ongoing meetings throughout the lifecycle of the project professionally and effectively.
  • Determine key milestones and tasks required to complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and other project collateral, including task lists, issue and risk registers
  • Deliver implementation projects within agreed upon timeframes in line with relevant controls and processes.
  • Identify, analyse and escalate key risks and issues associated with each initiative/project.
  • Circulation of regular status reports to all client stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with relevant departments to ensure required activities are prioritised, assigned and delivered within all internal agreed upon timeframes.

What will you bring to the role?                                   

A sound understanding of project management methodology along with an ability to work collaboratively with client and internal stakeholders.

Other key skills required include:

  • Proven project coordinating experience
  • An understanding of Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), Prince2 or similar Project Management methodology
  • Process improvement and change management techniques
  • Experience of supporting the creation/implementation of processes, policies and
  • methodologies
  • Demonstrable experience acting as the escalation point both internally and externally, utilising effective problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of different coaching techniques, communication & feedback styles
  • An understanding of Financial Markets, Regulations and other Corporate Governance/Licensing requirements is preferred.
