A varied standalone accounting opportunity for a team-oriented organisation in Sydney CBD.
We are the Australian leader in providing continuing professional development for variety of legal and aligned professionals. We have a rare opening in our accounts area where you will be able to own the whole of the accounts function in this standalone role reporting to the Managing Director.
What you’ll be doing:
- Accounts payable & accounts receivable
- General ledger reconciliations
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- End of month procedures
- BAS / IAS preparation and lodgement
- Salary processing
- Ad-hoc reporting
- Working closely with the external accountant for year end processes
About you:
- Enjoy working independently
- Be outgoing, confident and team-orientated
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Advanced Xero and Microsoft Excel Skills
- Excellent time management
- Certificate or degree in accounting
