Victoria’s new public Correctional Centre is approaching completion and now is the time to apply for ongoing jobs that will help shape the future operations of the facility.
Employees working in the initial stage of operations will contribute to the foundations of the new facility by participating in the development of operating processes, services and procedures. In addition, they will be part of a multi-disciplinary team committed to building a culture of continuous improvement in the workplace.

The role
The Manager, Facility and Assets provides strategic leadership and operational management of the new correctional centre in the initial commissioning phase and when it becomes fully operational. They are the deputy to the General Manager providing responsive, detailed briefings and reports, containing both analysis and strategic advice.
They operate at a high level on the integration of complex information into sound decision making and facility service delivery. The Manager, Facility and Assets delivers significant projects and works collaboratively with multiple stakeholders providing leadership, sound judgement and policy insights.
Your skills and experience
You will be a natural leader with the ability to bring together the people and information needed to make sound judgements and provide astute advice. You will have experience managing highly productive teams and will have the energy and capacity needed to be a positive influence on the people you work with and mentor.
You will have expertise when it comes to managing large infrastructure assets including planning, risk management and asset renewal. Your decision-making confidence reflects your skill for building networks, sourcing accurate analysis and data, while having a thorough understanding of working effectively in a policy environment.
