Manufacturing Management Accountant in Blakemoresource at CBD & Inner Suburbs

Our client is a manufacturer of high end premium brand products with a reputation second to none as an exclusively Australian company in retail and trade, designing and crafting a broad range of world class residential and commercial products.

Reporting to the Directors and based in East Melbourne you will be responsible for working with a collaborative senior executive team overseeing the company’s P&L, accounting and cost functions, budgeting, planning and forecasting financials. You will manage a small team and and provide analytical and financial insights into the dynamic cost structures of the business central to manufacturing given the changing requirements of the manufacturing process – with a strong focus on materials/Inventory and direct/indirect labour costs – cost accounting is in your DNA.

To be considered for this role you must posses tertiary qualifications in Finance and Accounting from a highly reputable institution with post graduate qualifications /CPA/CA accreditation expected. Strong demonstrable experience in a manufacturing environment with a high direct labour component is a must and an understanding of Lean concepts and principles would set you apart.
