A national mortgage processing centre of home loans is seeking an experienced mortgage processing officer who can manage mortgage variations and is responsible for processing all pre and post settlement variation requests relating to title production matters and deceased estates.
  
Key Responsibility Areas:
  • Log mortgage applications in the access database and validate and review title production requests, and submit to Credit team for decisioning.
  • Instruct and correspond with panel solicitors with settlement of title production and mortgage requests.
  • Record and manage deceased estate customers – liaising with internal or external stakeholders to finalise the estate.
  • Respond to email and phone enquiries from clients, and franchisees within service standards.
  • Manage all allocated files within the agreed service levels as directed by the Team Manager.

Role Requirements:
  • Strong skills in both written and spoken communication.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task, working quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to prioritize work and perform under pressure.
  • Positive attitude and ability to relate well to other team members.
  • Minimum one year experience within a banking environment.
  • Proven understanding of mortgage processing
  • Intermediate level Microsoft and computer based system skills with the ability to quickly input data or locate information.
