About the Mackay Hospital and Health Service

Mackay Hospital and Health Service has six hospitals, two multi-purpose health services and four community health centres that employ more than 3,300 staff. The district covers an area of approximately 90,000km2 and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine and Sarina.

Your opportunity

  • Provide effective and efficient Operational Services whilst always adhering to organisational standards, policies and procedures. This position will be responsible for providing support services for a patient centred health care environment including cleaning, linen services, food services assistant, removal of waste, transportation of equipment and materials around the hospital.
  • This position is on 14 day rotating roster with various day shifts including weekends.

Your team

Clermont MPHS is a 32-bed facility that has recently consolidated from two sites to one.  The facility comprises 10 x acute inpatient beds and 22 x aged care beds in Montcler.  Current services include Aged Care, Accident & Emergency (A&E) services, inpatient services, Community Health and Allied Health outpatient clinics and the Community Home Support Program (CHSP).
