Hills International College is a co-educational Prep-Year 12 day and boarding College situated just forty minutes south of Brisbane, at Jimboomba. The College is seeking to appoint a full-time Primary Classroom Teacher (Year 5) to commence at the start of Term 3, 2022.
Hills International College is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Primary teacher to join our Junior School Team, in Year 5, commencing at the beginning of Term 3, 2022.
Classroom teachers at Hills International College are expected to be flexible, enthusiastic, competent and dynamic team members, who actively engage in the daily life of the school, in addition to their specific responsibilities at the class level. The teaching staff work closely with our College families, and teachers are expected to be highly proactive in dealing with student wellness or learning concerns.
Applicants will need to demonstrate:
- Experience with the International Baccalaureate’s Primary Years Programme and Australian Curriculum would be advantageous
- An ability to plan and implement an inquiry-based and conceptual framework
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and an ability to build authentic and collaborative relationships
- Show genuine care for students and a strong commitment to providing a safe and supportive learning environment
- Work effectively as a member of an enthusiastic team
All teachers at Hills International College must be eligible for registration with the Queensland College of Teachers.
