About the role
Councils Arts and Culture Department is looking for a Senior Producer – Festivals and Major Events, your main responsibilities will include:
- Planning, implementing and delivering successful Council-run festivals and major events, which position Frankston as an arts, culture and event destination;
- Overseeing programming requirements, including but not limited to implementing production requirements; and
- Providing advice and guidance whilst processing external event applications.
The Senior Producer – Festivals and Major Events is one of two positions, with one position leaning towards programming and production and one position leaning towards operations and logistics, with both positions ensuring successful event delivery.
This is a full-time position.
About you
As the successful candidate you will have:
- Proven experience in event management of large scale festivals and events;
- Well-developed experience in programming large scale festivals and events;
- Strong event project management skills, high administrative and stakeholder relationship skills; and
- Degree or diploma qualification in event management (or relevant experience).

This position is a Band 6 currently remunerated between $89,810 to $98,659 per annum plus superannuation.
