The Team Leader will work on the NSW Health DeliverEASE Project. DeliverEASE is a new way of managing medical consumables within hospital wards to improve the availability and visibility of medical consumables for clinical staff.
In this project role, the DeliverEASE Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational activities of the Relay Team, ensuring they are completed to DeliverEASE standards and within the time allocated.
We are looking for someone with demonstrated experience and knowledge of clinical/medical consumables or stock management, and experience leading a small team within a complex service environment. The most important skills you’ll possess will be the ability to prioritise
competing demands and achieve results with a customer focused approach.

About the opportunity
You will be responsible to Supervise the relay team overseeing the day-to-day operational activities such as:
- Stocktakes of clinical and non-clinical consumables in a timely manner with accuracy.
- Reorganise stock within storerooms into grouping classifications in accordance with the plan layout.

The role is graded as a General Administration Staff Grade 7 with an annual salary of $69,005 (Excl. 10% superannuation and leave loading). 38 hours per week with shifts between 07:30 and 16:30, Monday to Friday.
The role is Temporary Full-Time for an initial period of up to 8 months with possibility of extension to meet project demands. This is a new project role with multple vacancies available, and with various commencement dates available as DeliverEASE is implemented across hospital sites.
There are various locations on offer: Royal North Shore Hospital, Gosford Hospital, St George Hospital, Wollongong Hospital, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Nepean Hospital, Blacktown Hospital.

This is a NSW Health Category B position.
All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.
Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations. Please provide proof of vaccination if available.
