Victoria’s new public Correctional Centre is approaching completion and now is the time to apply for ongoing jobs that will help shape the future operations of the facility. 

Employees working in the initial stage of operations will contribute to the foundations of the new facility by participating in the development of operating processes, services and procedures. The role

As the Team Leader, Workforce Engagement Support Officers, you will lead a team to deliver great customer service while being responsive, action-oriented and solutions focussed. The role is responsible for supporting facility operations including employee communications regarding rosters and human resources.

You will be a great collaborator and relationship builder who makes it a priority to keep all employees engaged and informed. Above all, you will role model a positive work culture and stand out as an ambassador for organisational values. 

Your skills and experience  

As a person with excellent interpersonal skills, you will be good at building positive and productive partnerships with employees. You will also be a great problem solver who seeks guidance and can refer to policy and procedure when resolving issues.

Confidence providing support to a team in complex situations, and the ability to provide clear direction and advice is important in this role. Overall, you will be a team player who demonstrates integrity and empathy with an appreciation of a range of different cultures.
