About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking candidates with significant civil construction experience, and/or relevant trade qualifications to lead, motivate and supervise a small team in the construction and maintenance works associated with Council wastewater schemes. This is a great opportunity for candidates who are looking to develop their skills, both technical and supervisory. If you are a motivated team player with the ability to think on your feet, this is the role for you.
On a typical day, our Team Leader will:
- Lead, motivate and supervise construction crews and contractors to maintain Councils wastewater assets.
- Repair damaged wastewater assets to ensure integrity for generations to come.
- Fault find and repair operational issues within the wastewater systems.

Remuneration and Benefits
Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent, 38 hours per week
Salary (exclusive of super): Starting salary of $1,221,80 per week with the opportunity for competency based progression.
Allowances: This role attracts an adverse working and sewer allowance and has a Tool of Trade vehicle available.

Port Macquarie-Hastings Councils Water and Sewer section services over 77,000 residents and consist of 8 wastewater treatment plants, 169 wastewater pumping stations, 726km of wastewater mains and over 13,000 manholes.
